About The Embassy
The Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Rwanda plays a key role in strengthening cooperation between the two states.
To this end, the Embassy continuously works to promote investment opportunities in Guinea by highlighting its natural resources, infrastructure, and cultural dynamism. Committed to facilitating bilateral exchanges between the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Rwanda, the Embassy actively supports initiatives aimed at creating sustainable partnerships. Moreover, it provides a range of consular services to Guinean citizens residing in Rwanda, including administrative assistance, issuance of official Guinean documents, and emergency support. It also serves as a point of contact for Guineans in Rwanda, helping them maintain a strong connection with their country of origin while supporting their integration into the host country.
History of Relations
2021
His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, made a historic official visit to Guinea. This meeting marked an important milestone in bilateral relations, with the signing of agreements on economic cooperation, security, and technological innovation.
2022
Implementation of the signed agreements, particularly in the health and agriculture sectors, strengthening trade exchanges and the transfer of expertise between the two countries.
2023
Guinea and Rwanda reaffirm their commitment to work together on continental issues, notably through initiatives within the African Union.
2024
Bilateral relations take a new turn with the holding of the inaugural session of the Guinea-Rwanda Joint Cooperation Commission.
