SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
Scientific and academic cooperation is based on three main agreements.
On May 13, 2016, in Kigali, an Agreement on University, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation was signed between the authorities of the two countries.
On March 9, 2016, the two countries concluded an Agreement on Cooperation in the fields of health, medical research, and biomedical sciences. Signed by the representatives of both governments, this agreement facilitates the exchange of researchers, health training, and the sharing of expertise in public health policies.
Additional agreements, signed between 2016 and 2024, strengthen academic mobility, training programs, and scientific partnerships between universities, medical institutes, and research centers of the two countries.
