ECONOMIC COOPERATION
Economic cooperation is one of the most dynamic aspects of the bilateral partnership.
The first foundational agreement is the Air Services Agreement, signed on March 9, 2016, in Conakry. It paved the way for the integration of the two countries into African air corridors.
The Cooperation Protocol on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) was signed on April 18, 2023, in Conakry by representatives of the two governments. It marks a major advance in the digitalization of the Guinean administration, inspired by the Rwandan model.
On October 9, 2024, two major agreements were concluded in Kigali:
- Protocol on the Development and Administration of Special Economic Zones
- Memorandum on Export Promotion
Finally, on the sidelines of the Africa CEO Forum 2025, a Partnership Agreement between Guinea’s Agency for the Promotion of Public and Private Investments and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) was signed. This agreement establishes an operational framework for bilateral investments and encourages private projects with high economic impact.
